Hospitality Training in Baking and Confectionery at Alkali Hussaini Foundation

Alkali Hussaini Foundation, in partnership with IDEAS Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), is currently hosting an intensive training program in Hospitality with a special focus on Baking and Confectionery.

This impactful initiative is proudly sponsored by the World Bank and the Federal Ministry of Education, reinforcing a shared commitment to equipping individuals with practical, employable, and entrepreneurial skills for sustainable livelihoods.

The ongoing training program is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and professional knowledge in baking, pastry production, cake decoration, confectionery preparation, food hygiene, and customer service within the hospitality industry.

Trainees are being exposed to modern techniques and industry-standard practices that prepare them for opportunities in:

• Bakery and pastry businesses
• Hospitality and catering services
• Entrepreneurship and small-scale business management
• Employment within the food and hospitality sector

The program goes beyond technical training by encouraging creativity, discipline, teamwork, and innovation among trainees.
