SASES Programme Strengthens Mathematics and Basic Science Education Through Strategic Partnership
The fifth day of the SASES (Salvaging Science Education in Our Schools) Programme highlighted the importance of collaboration between government and development partners in strengthening the teaching and learning of Mathematics and Basic Science across schools in Kebbi State.
In his remarks, Mr. Tersoo Akula emphasized the urgent need for sustained investment in education, particularly in Mathematics and Basic Science, to improve learning outcomes and prepare students with the foundational skills needed for future success. He stressed the value of strategic partnerships between government and development organizations in advancing quality education.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged in practical and interactive sessions designed to enhance teaching methodologies, strengthen subject knowledge, and promote learner-centred approaches in Mathematics and Basic Science classrooms. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of foundational education and equipping teachers with the skills needed to inspire the next generation of learners.
