Graduation Ceremony of Trainees, Trained for Duration of 4 Months under Tailoring and Computer Appreciation
Published: 7/24/2025

Alkali Hussaini Foundation, in collaboration with the Kebbi Development Forum (KDF), recently held a Graduation Ceremony for participants who completed a 4-month intensive training program in Tailoring and Computer Appreciation.
The ceremony marked a major milestone in the lives of the graduates, many of whom began the journey with little to no prior experience in the fields. Over the past four months, these individuals acquired valuable hands-on skills aimed at making them self-reliant and employable in today’s evolving job market.
The tailoring track was designed to equip participants with practical knowledge in cutting, sewing, and fashion design. At the graduation event, the trainees proudly displayed their finished garments, which reflects the growth they had achieved in such a short time.
To encourage excellence and reward outstanding effort, the top two trainees in Tailoring were gifted sewing machines. This gesture will enable them to kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys and contribute to their communities.
The Computer Appreciation course offered basic-to-intermediate training in digital skills, including Microsoft Office tools(Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point), internet navigation, and file management. These are essential competencies for those seeking office work or entrepreneurial ventures in today’s digital economy.
In recognition of their exceptional performance, the top two participants in the Computer Appreciation track were each awarded a brand-new laptop. These laptops will serve as vital tools in their continued learning and professional growth.
The success of this initiative was made possible through the strong partnership between Alkali Hussaini Foundation and Kebbi Development Forum. Both organizations share a vision of empowering individuals with practical skills that lead to long-term economic empowerment.
The graduation ceremony wasn't just an end, it was a new beginning. The Alkali Hussaini Foundation remains committed to similar projects that provide training, mentorship, and resources to individuals across Nigeria.
